Weighbridge Inn, 19th March
Meeting up at Warmley station was Mike, Max, Malcolm, Anthony, Mark, Shirley and me, Darren, the magnificent seven. We started off with a great rumble of belly's going down the road for the search of pie, so pretty sharpish we got on to the A46 . Weather was good but a bit gusty as we headed towards Nailsworth. Max was taking us to the Ladders at Box for some twisty roads with sharp turns and we had a date with the devil, a very sharp turn in the road which was the devil’s elbow! Thankfully we got through safe and sound. Then on we went, to The Weighbridge Inn for some of their world famous pie's. As we headed in to the pub we were greeted by a warm fire and friendly service. After eating the two in one pies we jumped back on the bikes and headed home back along A46. A great day and great company, well done Max.
