Weston Bike Night.
On the 1st of August we took a trip to one of Weston Super Mare’s Bike Nights in place of the
usual monthly meeting. Seven bikes and eight riders met up early in the evening
and took the quick route down the M5 to Weston sea front. Once we had managed
to get through the road works that seem to have been there for years we stopped
off at the services to meet up with a couple more members. On arrival the idea
was to find more of our branch that had gone directly to Weston. We quickly
found that this was not going to be easy as the place was buzzing. The hot
weather sure had drawn a large crowd. We did eventually find everyone and the
count rose to twelve bikes with fourteen riders. A very pleasant evening was
had wandering amongst some incredible bikes and sorry for swearing but I even
saw a Harley I liked. On the way back we chose the scenic, slower route,
plodding through the villages of North Somerset back to Bristol and Home.
