Yate day, 4th June.
A few hardy souls gathered in Yate at a ridiculous time in the morning probably wondering what the hell we were doing this for as it seemed that the rest of the country was still asleep. Well of course we were doing it for our charity so it was well worth it. We headed into Yate shopping centre to set up our bikes and the gazebo with the aim of raising money for Bristol Children’s Hospice. Setting up we realised we had no water butt to keep us in Tea and Coffee. Thankfully after sending Jamie (well I suppose it was me that forgot to bring it, "Jamie") of to find one, Halfords very kindly let us have one for a vastly reduced price and even filled it for us. It was good day chatting to people, letting their kids sit on the bikes, having lots of fun and taking photos. Only kids with sticky fingers were allowed to sit on the Harley, sorry Paul! Thanks for Neal for sorting it out. Also attended by Jamie, Mike, Max, Ant, Paul, and Deni.
