Burford. 14th-November.
What a lovely ride-out today.
Ten bikes, 12 club members, lots of fun and socializing. Mark and Shirley, Martin and Amanda, Pete, Mike, Darren, Chris, Dave, Steve, Andy and Myself.
A bit of a mystery tour today. After 2 stops for refreshment/social breaks Chris had to sadly return home after his bike fell over breaking his front brake lever completely off. Dave and Steve also ventured off as time was ticking on as well. 7 bikes continued on to the original destination, arriving a little later than expected. We had some very nice refreshments in Huffkins Café at Burford. A lovely Historic town in West Oxford.
The ride home was a little quicker with some lovely biking roads. All in all, (despite a couple of hic-cups) another successful ride-out.
Thanks everyone for a great day x

Sunday 14 November ride out starting off with 10 bikes Mike, Mark, Shirley, Darren, Jan, Andy, Martin, Mandy, Steve, Dave, Chris and Pete all meet up at the cross hands pub on the A46. We all set off towards Burford and all was going well. When we got past Cirencester we hit some road works with a no entry sign. So, Mark made a detour and after a bit of time we all got a bit dizzy, l am sure we went round Preston twice. We ended at Cotswold Water Park Cafe, so we decided to stop for snacks and refreshments. Starting off again Chris had a little mishap on the junction coming out of the car park. On a strange bit of a camber, he slowly dropped his bike and snapped off his front brake lever. He was ok thankfully. So with the AA on the way and his wife picking him up he was good, So off we started off again, at this point though Steve and Dave headed back home before we could say we were going to Burford. The rest of us all got to Burford in one piece. We all stopped for more tea and cake after Mark had a strange feeling in his hands. I did think it was the extra cake he had but no he still had a strange feeling in his hands. It was all very strange but no, it wasn’t anything serious. He had just picked up the wrong gloves off Chris’s bike when he was helping him. After all that excitement I think the day went well and with no mishaps on the way back home another good ride was over. Thanks everybody for a great ride out.
