Ride of Hope. 29th-May.
Mike and I started off at Warmley Station, At 8 we left to meet Eryl at the Premier Inn on Bridgewater Road . At the inn we met Eryl dressed as a large green Cookie Monster and we got to meet the rest of Group, we were having a chat and it was decided that Mike and I would lead the group. Through Wales up to Abergavenny via some twisty’s. But before this we took them under the Bristol Suspension Bridge and then towards Aust services with a bit on the motorway. Getting out of Aust and over the River Severn which was under the bridge with some Lady Raiders who did not like Bridges so we did tell them to shut their eyes glad they didn’t. We found some nice twisty roads for the group ride on the way up to Usk. After which we found more twists as we headed up to Abergavenny, stopping at the bus park for much needed cuppa. Eryl was well chuffed we lead the group for them. It was just a short distance for us while the Ride of Hope for Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy travelled the length of Britain
