Ring of Red. 11th-November.
Well , It didn't rain. It was cold to start with and the sun shone as Mike and I left Bristol with a rainbow bidding us farewell. We arrived at Swindon for the Remembrance day service with plenty of time to wander around the exhibition hall, eat a sausage bap and have a warming coffee. After the very moving service we departed for Reading. 20 bikes and riders in the bright morning light. At Reading we were joined by 30 more bikes and we made our way along the M4 and onto the M25. Heading clockwise we eventually made it to South Mimms. A little concerned as we arrived that there were only a few bikes there. Our fears were allayed as 1800 other bikes followed us in. A good day, a good turn out . A long cold bright ride homeward until the sun set, and the night carried us the last few miles.
LEST WE FORGET.
